What to Do When Your Lash Lift Doesn't Work?

If you've recently had a lash lift and it didn't turn out as expected, don't worry. There are a few common reasons why a lash lift may not work, and they can all be easily fixed. One of the most common issues is using too much adhesive. To fix this, use a Y comb to remove the excess and separate the eyelashes.

It's also important to make sure your eyelashes are clean before the treatment. Use a makeup remover and then wash your eyelashes with a good eyelash shampoo to remove oil and buildup. In addition, make sure you select the right protector size and don't process your eyelashes too much. If you notice that your eyelashes are damaged, it's best to stop the treatment.

If the lash lift didn't work at all or you didn't get the results you expected, you can ask your eyelash artist to do another minilift for you with half the processing time. If your eyelashes looked perfect after the treatment and then curled too much after a while, then you likely rushed one of the steps. It's important to follow the instructions carefully and not rush any of the steps. If they use a rod that is too big or small or that isn't shaped properly to fit your eye, eyelash stretching may not work as expected. Finally, make sure you follow all aftercare rules and use a nourishing lotion to help remove any glue from the eyelid. Most eyelash lifts are designed to last 4 to 6 weeks, so it's recommended to wait at least another 2 additional weeks before doing another lash lift.
